Shoreline Property Owners Take Action!

After a lengthy suspension, San Juan County's Shoreline Master Program (SMP) update is once again before the County Council.  We remind you that it is important for all shoreline property owners to document/photograph the current condition of your shoreline, to establish a baseline condition (historic journal of activites) for no net loss for any future land use activities on your property.  For additional explanation, see CSA Newsletter of May 2013 which contains links to pertinent County websites.

You might also wish to read about the Pacific Legal Foundation’s recent victory this week in their lawsuit challenging the City of Solana Beach’s (California) unlawful restrictions on seawalls and coastal homeowners’ property rights.
Please Help Fund CSA's Work
No newsletter would be complete if we did not thank you for your ongoing support of our work on your behalf.
Also, you may be aware that many San Juan County property owners do not live in SJ County. Please forward this newsletter to those you know who may fall into this category.
Thank you!
