Dear San Juan County Neighbors and Friends,

Thankfully, we seem to now have a County Council who is seeing the light.  That is, the shenanigans being pulled by the likes of county employees, the Marine Resource Committee, the Friends of the San Juans (FOSJ), and more.  For a more in depth discussion, read yesterday’s Trojan Heron article, “Conservation District Ploy.”

Following up on the observations of the Trojan Heron and our own experiences and revelations during the CAO process, CSA will begin an in-depth look at the actual experiences of our friends and neighbors with the FOSJ and complicit county employees.  This series should confirm what many feel they have known for some time and be an eye-opener for others.  We believe that the FOSJ is more of a special interest law firm that harasses, intimidates and attempts to discourage, through the expense of appeals and litigation, those who would develop their property but have not paid their “dues” to them.

Keep watching for our newsletters and send them on to your fellow islanders who may not be aware.  CSA has gained the attention and respect that the property owners and taxpayers of this county deserve.  Help us keep up the momentum!
